The first is set in America. It has oddly mixed reviews – some people hated it, thinking the main protagonist, a young English Quaker named Honor, priggish and one dimensional – others found it un-put-downable! But all agree that there is a lot of detail about quilting in there – so decide for yourself!
The second is the story of a seamstress who worked for the Royal family in the early 20th century seen through the eyes of one of her descendants. You can read more about this one, here.
